When the specifications for the Sopwith Aero Marquis collection were published, a printing error listed the anti-magnetic protection rating as 20,000 Gauss across all models – the Nieuport 28, Thomas-Morse Scout, Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Arctic Sea and Messerschmitt Bf 109. That figure was unfortunately repeated by several industry news outlets and even made its way into some of our own material before we caught it.
The correct anti-magnetic rating for the Sopwith Aero Marquis is the industry standard 4,800 A/m. We are updating all printed and digital materials to reflect the accurate specification, and are contacting outlets that carried the misprinted figure. We regret any confusion this may have caused.
