Each Sopwith timepiece is crafted in limited quantity using authentic metals recovered from World War I and II aircraft, automobiles, and other historic vehicles.
By placing an order, you agree to the following Conditions of Sale, which are designed to honor the integrity of our craftsmanship and the rare materials from which each watch is made.
1. Production & Order Confirmation
Each Sopwith watch is produced to order in a limited batch. Orders placed during the presale period secure allocation within our first production run, scheduled for delivery in Spring 2026.
Once an order is confirmed, it represents a reservation for a unique timepiece. Delivery dates are approximate and may vary based on the availability of historical materials and the precision required for hand assembly.
2. Heritage Materials
Every Sopwith watch incorporates metal recovered from authentic sources of aviation and automotive history.
When honoring our Warranty, due to the scarcity and uniqueness of these materials, Sopwith may, at its discretion, substitute equivalent heritage steel or other authentic components if material from a specific aircraft, automobile, or vehicle becomes unavailable.
This ensures that every Sopwith timepiece remains both genuine and historically rooted.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise specified. Payment in full is required at the time of order to reserve your piece within the limited production run.
Applicable taxes, duties, or import fees are the responsibility of the purchaser and may vary by location.
4. Delivery & Ownership
Each Sopwith watch will ship directly from our facility upon completion and quality verification.
Title and risk of ownership transfer to the customer upon shipment. All timepieces are shipped fully insured and securely packaged to ensure safe delivery.
5. Warranty
Watch Case Warranty — Forever
Sopwith watch cases are guaranteed forever against manufacturing and workmanship defects, cracking, breaking, lug failure, or structural damage to the steel, as determined by Sopwith Watch Company.
This warranty does not cover cosmetic damage or scratching from normal use.
To submit a claim, send the complete watch to Sopwith Watch Company with a brief description of the issue.
If a replacement is issued, it will be provided free of charge, including reassembly of the watch.
Due to the scarcity of historic steel, Sopwith may at its discretion substitute the case with one made from the steel of a different airplane, automobile, or other historical vehicle, or replace the watch case with another model.
All Other Parts — 1 Year
Sopwith’s one-year warranty covers manufacturing defects on all other components, excluding damage resulting from:
Normal wear and tear
Misuse or accidental impact (including scratching, chipping of crystal, or coating wear)
Unauthorized repair or case opening
Water infiltration due to improper crown sealing or exceeding rated water resistance
This warranty applies only to watches purchased directly from Sopwith or an authorized dealer.
6. Authenticity
Each Sopwith watch is individually numbered and accompanied by documentation verifying the origin of its historical materials. Every piece carries its own traceable heritage and serves as a living artifact of mechanical and human history.
7. Modifications & Servicing
To preserve authenticity and warranty coverage, all adjustments, movement servicing, or restoration work should be performed by Sopwith Watch Company or an authorized service partner.
8. Governing Law
All purchases are governed by the laws of the state or country in which Sopwith Watch Company is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
By completing your order, you agree to these Conditions of Sale in full.
