Precision in Parallel: Sopwith Watch Co. & The Jack Aces Team

Sopwith Watch Company has solidified an ambassador agreement with the Jack Aces P-51 Aerobatic Team for the 2026 air show season. This partnership bridges the gap between historical preservation and modern precision, as both organizations celebrate the legacy of World War II fighting aircraft.

The Jack Aces P-51’s comprise a premier formation team consisting of three iconic Mustangs: “Mad Max,” “Little Witch,” and “Cheryl Lynn”. Led by pilot Louis Horschel, the team executes breathtaking maneuvers while performing at air shows across North America.

“I met Louis and his team at Sun-n-Fun in Florida last year,” said Sopwith president Stephen Cox. “Their P-51’s are powered by authentic Merlin engines and as soon as I heard them roar past, I knew we wanted to be involved with their team. There’s just no other sound like it in the world. The whole team welcomed us and we’re very grateful to be a small part of their effort.”

Unlike standard tribute watches, Sopwith integrates reclaimed historical aircraft steel directly into their luxury builds. This partnership allows the Jack Aces to represent a brand that literally carries pieces of the history they fly. Together, they aim to inspire a new generation of enthusiasts by showcasing their WW2 aircraft at major airshows across North America

This relationship further establishes Sopwith in the aviation community. The company already serves as presenting sponsor of the Dawn Patrol Rendezvous Air Show, and also preserves the personal written memoirs of more than sixty fighter pilots from the First World War.
